The Professional Development Committee (PDC) is pleased to announce that the Multipurpose Empanelment Form (MEF) for the year 2024-25 is now available at meficai.org. Before filling out the MEF 2024-25, members are advised to thoroughly review the advisory. The information submitted through the MEF will be shared with authorities such as ICAI, RBI, NABARD, and others for professional empanelment.

Eligibility for MEF 2024-25:

• Partnership/LLP Firms in existence as of July 1, 2024.
• Proprietary Firms in existence as of July 1, 2024.
• Members with a Full-time Certificate of Practice as of July 1, 2024, practicing in their individual name.

Registration and Login Details:

• Returning Applicants: Use your credentials from previous MEF applications. If the password is forgotten, use the "Forgot Password" option to retrieve it.
• First-time Applicants: Register for MEF 2024-25 on the official website.
• Login Issues: Ensure eligibility criteria are met if you're unable to log in after successful registration.

Important Dates:

• The last date for submission of MEF 2024-25 is October 7, 2024.

Key Points:

• Green Fields: Non-editable, displaying data from ICAI’s SSP for Firms/Members/Partners/Paid Employees.
• White Fields: Editable and should be updated with current information by the applicant.
• Any changes in Green Fields must reflect in ICAI’s SSP to be updated in the MEF.
• MEF allows page-wise saving and is editable multiple times before submission. However, once submitted, it cannot be edited.
• Ensure data accuracy, as various authorities, including RBI and NABARD, draw panels from MEF based on this information.

Complaint Resolution Mechanism:

For any queries or complaints related to MEF 2024-25:

• Lodge a complaint under the "MEF Complaint Entry" tab at meficai.org using your MRN/FRN. A complaint number will be generated for future reference.

• Check the status of your complaint by using the MRN/FRN.

• If unresolved within 3 working days, email mefpdc@icai.in with the complaint number, or call the following designated numbers between 2 PM to 5 PM on working days:
