Step-by-Step Process to Manage Multi-GST Registration in TallyPrime 6.1

Step 1: Enable GST in TallyPrime 6.1

Before setting up multiple GST registrations, ensure that GST is enabled in the company.

  1. Go to:
    Gateway of Tally → F11: Features → Statutory & Taxation
  2. Set Enable Goods & Services Tax (GST): Yes.
  3. Configure your primary GSTIN for the state where your head office is located.

 


 

Step 2: Enable Multi-GST in Company Features

Once GST is enabled:

  1. In the same Statutory & Taxation settings, enable:
    Enable Multiple GST Registration for the Company: Yes.
  2. Tally will allow you to add multiple GST registrations for different states within the same company.

 


 

Step 3: Set Up Multiple State-wise GSTINs

For each GST registration, you can specify the GSTIN and related details.

  1. Go to:
    Gateway of Tally → Alter → Company
  2. Under GST Details, you will see an option to Add State and GST Registration.
  3. For each state where you are registered:
    • Select the State.
    • Enter the corresponding GSTIN.
    • Specify the applicable period of registration.
